20 Oct 2007	BIRKENHEAD/CHELSEA WATER-SKI RACING COMPETITION 08 and 09 December 2007 TEMPORARY REMOVAL – SPEED RESTRICTIONS The public are advised that the New Zealand Water Ski Racing Association will be holding a water skiing competition off Birkenhead Wharf on the above dates. The competition will start at 9am each day, and finish no later than 5pm. During these hours, the provisions of Auckland Regional Council Navigation and Safety Bylaw Clause 3.2 (a) and (b) “the 5 knot rule” are suspended with respect to competing craft and any emergency vessels only. All mariners are warned to navigate with caution during this event and to follow instructions given by Course Marshalls.
