Friday Night Special

The Friday Night Special is the name we give to our Friday Night Fun races that take place through the summer.

The series provides an opportunity for people that have little or no sailing experience to get a chance to sail on Keelers, with the excitement of a low-key, around the buoys race in the harbour, followed by a social evening in the clubrooms with the bar open and a buffet meal available.

To participate, candidates must take out a crew membership ($90) with Richmond (This also allows your name to go onto our CrewPoint list for potential crewing opportunities), and pay $60 as an entry fee for the series.

Racing is Friday nights on the following dates, beginning at 6:00 at your boat.

What you need to know:

Be at your boat by 6:00pm please. Light soled shoes to protect the boats decks. No bare feet please as these will leave muddy footprints Look forward to seeing you all in the club after the race.
